The Delaware Association of Second Amendment Lawyers is a state-wide civic organization of Delaware lawyers whose practices, academic interests or intellectual pursuits include matters pertaining to the historical, constitutional, jurisprudential and legal principles and concepts pertaining to:
- the right to keep and bear arms for lawful purposes
- the Second Amendment to the United states Constitution
- and Article I, Section 20 of the Delaware Constitution
The Delaware Association of Second Amendment Lawyers also promotes social activities with regard to the constitutional and legal principles of the Second Amendment and participates in programs that:
- perpetuate and encourage academic exploration and study of the history and evolution of Second Amendment jurisprudence and the right to keep and bear arms for lawful purposes under Article I, Section 20 of the Delaware Constitution
- educate other lawyers and the general public in matters pertaining to the right to keep and bear arms for lawful purposes, the Second Amendment and Article I, Section 20
- encourage others to engage in the study and practice of the law pertaining to those matters
- encourage the continued development, evolution and expansion of Second Amendment and Delaware constitutional jurisprudence within the State of Delaware
- assist the greater community and community leaders in developing a greater understanding of the issues that may impact them with regard to Second Amendment issues and jurisprudence
