On March 21, 2016 he Supreme Court unanimously reversed a Massachusetts court decision that upheld the state’s stun gun ban. The ruling states that the Massachusetts reasons for upholding the law conflicted with the Supreme Court’s 2008 decision upholding the right to bear arms for self-defense. The Supreme Court ordered the Massachusetts court to take another look at the state’s ban on stun guns.
